Brigantia Arts is a culmination of years of experience, trial and error, in regards to various arts and crafts.
Having been a mostly self-taught seamstress (grandmother and mother sewed as well) for 20 years, along with painting and drawing artist for most of my life, I have always had a curiosity to try out new crafts and techniques.
Whether it be buying vintage pattern-making books, drafting systems such as The Golden Rule, machine embroidery, pouring resin, or laser engraving, it has always satisfied a deeper part of my self that nothing else ever could. The ability to create something unique, to bring a vision to life. And maybe sometimes, make a little money off it.
I have been a serial hoarder of fabrics, crafting supplies, and canvases as the art and crafting rabbit hole is a deep one. If you have ever fully invested yourself in a craft, you know exactly what I’m talking about. I don’t consider myself an expert as I believe there is always something to be learned, but I am feeling compelled to share my knowledge, trials and tribulations.
What you will find on this site: my blog covering various techniques, products and musings interspersed with knowledge about the occult.
What you will not find here: me trying to convince you to believe in certain entities, join certain religious groups, or talk about crypto. If you don’t like those posts, then feel free to skip and move on to the blog posts you actually are interested in.
